Hi! I just wanted to tell you something cool that happened while Margaret Capone and I were in Latvia. We had just ministered to a lot of missionaries and others in western Latvia and were now on an intercessory prayer journey across the country to the Russian Front where the invasions of Latvia had come in.
We were praying away when suddenly I stopped and started singing "America the Beautiful" "America, America, God shed His grace on thee!" I sang the song again and again. Then I noticed that Margaret had stopped praying and was singing "God bless America" over and over. We laughed because it was such a departure from what we had been doing. We began to intercede for the United States. This went on for about an hour. We had a strong feeling that God was doing something right then in America and that although we were across the world, He was pulling us in to be a part of it.
I had the feeling to look at my watch. When I subtracted the hours of time difference, we realized to our surprise, that it was exactly the time that you all were praying in Raleigh--the National Day of Prayer!
So I want you to know that although I could not be there to lead prayer in person, the Lord blessed us greatly as he included us!
